What is yoga nidra?

Yoga nidra is a guided rest practice done lying down, where a teacher's voice leads your attention through the body and breath.

There's no movement or stretching. It is often described as the state between waking and sleep, and pairing it with live sound helps many people let go more easily.

(If you drift off, that's not failing yoga nidra. That's yoga nidra.)

What if I have never done a sound bath or yoga nidra?

Most Wednesday guests are first-timers. No experience or belief is needed. You just lie down and listen, and Joann guides everything. See what to expect at your first sound bath.
